Our Republic was founded by men who believed in God and in the power of prayer to change things.
During the Constitutional Convention in 1787, delegates were arguing with each other and seemed to be deadlocked over the question of how to set up a system of central government that would protect the rights of the individual states.
For a time it looked like the convenion would dissolve in chaos.
Benjamin Franklin could see that the bickering between delegates was going to destroy any chances of unity. He rose and said these famous words:

Summary of the Washington D.C. Spiritual Warfare Trip

On Monday, January 11, 2010, I flew from Seattle Tacoma Airport to Reagan Airport in Washington D.C., where from Tuesday, January 12th through Tuesday, January 19th we prayed approximately 6 to 8 hours a day. This prayer was either intense spiritual warfare intercession with revelation from the Lord or a spirit of prayer throughout the day as we walked the area, focusing primarily on the Capitol Building, the Supreme Court and the White House...
The team consisted of myself, Dennis M., Len P., Mike D., Adrian S., Jonathan Q., Bob J. and Mike L. The purpose of this mission trip was to intercede on behalf of the nation and to pray that America will not fall under tyranny, as it has been moving toward Socialism or worse...

Feisal Abdul Rauf, a New York imam, expects us to believe that jihad warfare was started by the West and can only be ended by the West. He is therefore either concealing or ignorant of the fact that violent jihad is a
developed tradition within Islam and found in core Islamic texts (including but not limited to the Qur'an, as well as Hadith and books of Islamic jurisprudence). In those it has nothing to do with the behavior of infidels.
It only has to do with the fact that they are infidels. Take, for example, this quotation from the Muslim prophet Muhammad:
When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. . . . If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them. (Sahih Muslim, book 019, Number 4294)
That is offensive jihad. It is buttressed by numerous other sayings of the Prophet, by the Qur'an, and by Islamic legal scholars. But Feisal Abdul Rauf puts it all on the West, and gets invited to Australia by Premier Bob Carr.

This sign exploiting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s memory was carried by college students wearing Obama shirts to insult, intimidate and asassinate the character of Glenn Beck.
Al Sharpton's accusations prior to the 8/28 rally to discredit Glenn Beck and mischaracterize his intentions for using this rally to call people back to God were a deliberate insult to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s memory. Had Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. been alive, he would have been a participant in the 8/28 rally with his niece. The facts are that Reverend Al Sharpton and the Reverend Jesse Jackson and the NAACP President, Jealous, are the people who have hijacked Dr. King's message and memory.
What a missed opportunity for Al Sharpton when he chose to use the "race card" and take the "blacks" on a march instead of following Dr. King's dream that "men be judged, not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character." Think about the fact that if Sharpton and Jackson couldn't play the "race card" they would both have to get a job!
Black ministers who align themselves with communists and Muslims have long abandoned the King Legacy. Dr. King, Jr. professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. He believed that through the shed blood of the Son of God ALL men were saved. He did not mix the altars.
As my daughter, Lori, and I sat and watched this propaganda make its way into our rally, we were very disappointed. Lori decided to walk over and get a closer look. Here she is!

In other words, with the help of David Axelrod, Barack Hussein Obama was a creation of the media. The real man was never allowed to be seen. Propaganda in its most sophisticated form put Obama in White House.
Kagan - I was always confused about her being Obama's choice to serve on the Supreme Court. The dots have been connected. As President of Harvard and Solicitor General for Obama she knows the truth about his past. Of course as Solicitor General involved in the cases questioning Obama's US citizenship, Kagan had access to all of his records. Viola! Supreme Court, here we come!

If you have never phoned before, take it from thousands who have gone before you and made their first NumbersUSA call that it really is pretty easy and non-threatening. Look at the talking points and then call. You should get off the phone quickly. You just want the staffers to mark you down as another citizen concerned about a de facto amnesty given by the Administration without a congressional vote.
In my alert that broke the news of the de facto amnesty plot on Tuesday, I erred in implying that this amnesty might happen by an executive order by the President.
This amnesty could go in place just by federal bureaucrats taking an action that the President just lets happen. He would merely have to give his quiet consent to DHS Sec. Napolitano massively abusing one or both of two powers she already has:
1) parole authority
2) prosecutorial discretion to grant "deferred action".
These are intended to be used in individual cases, not as a blanket amnesty to cover millions. But we have received information from both Democratic and Republican offices that they have been told from people inside the Department of Homeland Security that "parole" and "deferred action" are being looked at as a way to get around the fact that Congress is not going to vote for an amnesty this year.

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country.
I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars plus additional expenses for my vacation in Spain. My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury
hotel.
We only booked 70 rooms for our friends, staff and family. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.
Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. It costs only $11,500 per hour to operate Air Force 2 and each additional plane for the other members of our party group. These are only rough estimates, but they are close (who's
counting?). That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.
I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a
few days. Will write more from Martha's Vineyard where we will spend our sixth vacation this year with more of our family and friends.

Coming August 31: ‘Direct Access’ Stimulus Grants for the Muslim Brotherhood

On August 31, this coming Tuesday, the Muslim Brotherhood-associated “Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations” (CCMO) will bring 25-30 Muslim leaders of 20 national Muslim groups to attend a special workshop presented by the White House and U.S. Government agencies (Agriculture, Education, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services etc.) to provide the groups “funding, government assistance and resources.” The workshop will apparently provide special access for these Muslim Brotherhood organizations: the organizers pledge to provide “direct access” and “cut through red tape.” Government and Muslim groups will hold an Iftar dinner (breaking the fast of Ramadan) after the workshop.
The event was announced in an email newsletter sent August 27 by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism finance trial, long associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, the global Islamist network (great backgrounder here from Hudson Institute). Here are three key paragraphs from the email (the entire article on the August 31 event from the ISNA email is pasted below this post as reference):
This year, a phenomenal next step has been made where government iftars become coupled with workshops to provide resources and benefit the Muslim community. The US Department of Agriculture (DOA) and the Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations (CCMO) have paired the first of such events, scheduled for August 31, 2010.
…Leaders from Muslim organizations around the nation, particularly social service organizations, are invited to a workshop with representatives from the DOA, Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, Health and Human Services, the White House, Department of Education, the Department of Homeland Security, and more. Twenty five to thirty Muslim leaders representing 20 Muslim organizations are expected to attend the workshop.
According to a representative of CCMO, this workshop is designed to clarify how Muslim nonprofits, mosques, Islamic centers, and social service organizations can strengthen their communities through more direct access to opportunities provided to social service agencies at the Federal level. “It will hopefully help cut through some of the red tape and shine light on the many opportunities for funding, government assistance, and resources that we just don’t know about at the local level,” said Elsanousi.
The Problem: Your Money, redistributed to the Muslim Brotherhood
This workshop constitutes an abdication of their professional responsibility by all government participants – and a taxpayer-funded government stimulus program for the attending Muslim Brotherhood-associated groups. The Muslim Brotherhood, founded in 1928, is a global Islamist political movement dedicated to imposing Shariah law on all nations and institutions. Their credo is “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
I suggest that the Administration knows these groups are linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. They think that’s a good thing.
This isn’t incompetence; it’s intentional.
